Where can i find a good store to get a BB gun in Toronto?
I looked around this forum and didnt find a post related to my question although im sure there is one somewhere... anyway, im getting my firearms license soon since im getting a 1600 FPS pellet rifle for the time being, i want to get a pistol or a rifle that shoots BB's, no need in the CO2 pistols, i dont want to waste so much money on it.
Any suggestions where i should go? im planning to spend 50-75 bucks taxes included. just something around the 350 fps range, could be more, i would be happier and in the toronto area, thank you for your time. |

im 21 this july lol, joining the forces soon. how do i get age verified, thanks for being patient with me guys, all the best.
SINCE I already posted this here, i will try to ask you guys one more question if you don't mind. Do i HAVE to use CO2 with a BB gun? cause everywhere i see it i seem to read how it uses CO2. Is it possible to use a BB gun that supports CO2 without it, just get less accurate results ? or there are CO2 BB gun and spring BB guns. Last edited by Syotos; June 9th, 2010 at 13:10.. |

If you want to get age verified so you can check out the classified sections just come out to one of the games. If you ask nicely most of us won't have a problem letting you check out our guns.
I mean hey the worst that could happen is you might get convinced to spend more than $50-75 on a gun |

BB guns shoot .177 cal or 4.5mm lead or copper pellets at 495 FPS (higher if you have a PAL) and are more deadly. They can also be used for pest control (as I believe how they are used on some farms/country areas) Anyways, you can get pump action BB guns, usually they're the target rifles like the Daisy Avanti line. These cannot be used at airsoft games however for target practise they're the greatest (only next to the Anschutz .177 cal pellet guns). As for AV, check out the FAQ's and look for the list of Age Verifiers for your area, it has to be done in person since it's easy to fake credentials online. It also may take a bit since the AV reps are all volunteers and once they're submitted your info the admins on the forum must activate the permissions on your account. EDIT: I highly suggest at least $175 for a pellet gun, the cheaper ones are way way to crappy and you'll be left wanting more; while the more expensive ones are more for "olympic target shooting" ("ISSF") and don't (IMO) offer too much more for a recreational shooter. Also, if you're getting a PAL you can also check out the air rifles that shoot over 500 FPS too, Air Force, Crosman, Winchester and Gamo I believe are pretty good names out there.
