Can this be disconnected? (ICS SIG 552)
This is my first AEG, so I dunno what I'm doing here.
I have to use an external battery pack because mine won't fit in the foregrip of my ICS SIG 552. I want to feed the wire through a hole in the foregrip(the instructions actually say to do this for an external battery source) and out to my attached pack. The instructions simply say "Disconnect the battery wires to feed through holes". Doesn't say how or show where. I'm thinking the wires can be popped apart at this area, can they? Thanks for your time. |

Yes those are just bullet connectors in a sheathing.
They pull apart easily. |

To better show what the fuse is like, I brightened the pic and circled it in orange:
I still can't fit it through because of the fuse on one wire, just realized that. lol Can the fuse be easily disconnected and popped back in? |

I suggest you get yourself a soldering iron a side cutter some solder and a roll of electrical tape. Cut out the wires and solder them back and while youre at it go get some deans plug and replace the connectors in the aeg and the battery (dont forget the charger too). Trust me you're better of this way.
Go to cheapbatterypacks.com you will see what deans plug look like and how the are connected. |

I'm too broke for all of that atm, and I need a solution thought up within 12 hours because I'm not gonna let this thing miss it's first game.
Right now I tried just feeding the wire through the hole from the outside, and leaving the fuse outside of the gun. But it needs some protection, any ideas? I can't just tuck it into my battery case because there's not enough slack/reach in the wire. |

Go to Canadian tire and buy 50 cents worth of wire and a roll of electrical tape. Go home and extend the extension wire so tha it will tuck in the battery bag. Don't come back here whining that it stopped shooting nor tell me that it worked. It's common sense dude! Seriously. And if your ass is too broke to do that to field your gun for the first time, you are in the wrong hobbie.
