Restricted Parts Of A Sniper Rifle

Just a Question out of curiosity, what part of an airsoft spring sniper rifle are restricted from entering Canada? Eg: L96 or Vsr styles?

The receiver. Which is essentially the whole barrel.

If you're trying to import it, it would be just a waste of time. That part is essentially the whole gun. Nice try.

Trigger assemblies for spring rifles tend to get held at customs like gearboxes do. Don't think they are restricted though, might have to get someone else to verify that.

Not interested in importing one i was just thinking how AEGs have the general receiver portion which is restricted and was wondering what its equivalent would be on a spring rifle.

In light of recent CFC and CBSA memos, spring rifles within certain velocities and barrel lengths should be the easiest to import.........

What about the VSR which doesn't correspond to any real world rifle?

I've actually always wondered about that but I just assumed that they would seize it on the basis of just being a gun or lookalike gun and looking "badass".

That is a common misconception, the restricted part is where the serial number of the weapon would be. in most cases it is on the receiver, but it always depends on the weapon.
