What Shock said was the case before. Now that there have been some new developments the prices will still be expensive but closer in line with regular retail prices outside Canada. (I would probably say you're looking at a 1.5-1.8x markup because of duties and the retailers cut).

Oh really sweet. Goodluck for the summer. I hope to still be here. Will be leaving in May hopefully for only 2 weeks then i shall return to Canada. Woo i can apply for my extension and hopefully i'll have a job before i go back woo!! lol That will be cool,i hope to be able to come down and join for some airsoft. I'd really like to give it ago. Looks fun and another expensive hobby i can try haha.

That will be good that they'll bring down the prices so it's closer to the regular prices.

You know what I just realized.....

If you want a P90, there's someone who rents one out IIRC. Maybe you can try it out for a day and see how you like it. The P90 isn't for everyone and apparently there are a lot of people who find it uncomfortable because of the ergonomics. Check out the Op-For forum for people who rent their stuff out.

P90s are a love or hate gun. Its best to try one out before laying out a tonne of cash.

If your doing lots of shock and awe CQB with short engagements then they are the cats meow.
They get to be a pain when you start burning through a bunch of mags (horrid mag changes).

All in all I think they have a place in certain peoples arsenal. I would like one myself, mainly to use alongside a bolt-gun.

A CA Sportline or Echo1 would probably fall reasonably close to your budget once your AVd.

I appricate your comment. Thanks for the info. Maybe if i find a game coming up and see what i need and if i can join and rent one.I would really upset spending the amount people have said and find that i'm not happy with it.
