And so it can be ALL plastic (receiver + stock) instead of partly plastic (stock)?

It's nice to have alternatives choice though. Still, $500 for a clear plastic aeg with low fps and shitty internals (yes shitty, as soon you start changing things, they don't hold up for shit)... Meh.
LOL.

I have a 380 fps TM AK with over 100,000 rounds through it. I bought it in 1999. It has Guarder steel bushings and a PDI 170% spring, and a Guarder cylinder head and Guarder clear hopup rubber - literally $50 worth of parts - installed at time of purchase. Everything else is stock, including the gears and piston, and it's never failed to fire. Not once. I've run it on a 11.1v 20C 4000 MaH LiPo for the last 6 months; maybe 6000 rounds with no MOSFET, so I'm looking to replace the trigger contacts soon.

I'd like to see any clone match that.

If they came pre upgraded to 350fps with solid metal internals, it would be a sweet deal. Just add a $5 krylon black spray can

Now lets see a clear TM M14
That's 100% bullshit.

We've had several TM's (M4's, AK's, G36C's)...all upgraded to varying degrees. Bushings, spring guide, spring....gears, nozzle, other internals...high power (400) and low power (330)...they all ran fine for, collectively, dozens of games and bags of BBs.

GRANTED...the TM M4A1 new type is not the best base for customizing a lot of the externals...you can...but the delta ring limits your options and the skinny barrel was never meant to show. The plastic body takes a lot of strain when you stick a big full steel barrel and metal 203 on the front end.

But that's modding the externals. The internals as-built from the factory are good....done well, minor upgrades can be run without it having it explode in your hands as soon as you touch it.

AK Spetznaz, All original Marui right down to the bushings bought new since 97 still alive and kicking a solid 280fps

Recently Fully refurbished TM HK51, this one probably has more bb's shots out from it than the 5 most active players in this boards has ever shot from their AEG in the last five years or older than this ASC board take your pick, bought new and still wearing the original first production run Classic Army full metal body(also recently refurbished, thanks TYS)

Let see any clone, clearsoft, cansoft, whatever match that

+1 I've always bought stock TM pistons as a rule of thumb to replace other brand's pistons. They last forever and are dirt cheap.

extremely little motor or gear noise on mine... jebus it's smooth.
It's my first TM, and even though I'm very disappointed with the externals, I can't believe how well it runs.
(s-system btw)
