SRC M4 Cant select Full auto
This SRC M4 CQB (Gen 3) that i just got today has a problem with switching to full auto on the selector switch. I have fired it on full auto but only like 6 shots then stopped. I can use safe and fire from semi without any troubles its just I cant switch to full. I have forced the switch to full auto and when I pulled the trigger it shot like it was on semi. I dont know it might be the battery cause its not fully charged, but even when I take out the battery it could not select full and when I first got the gun, it could select full auto without the battery in it.
Heres a pic of how much I can switch the lever before it becomes hard to switch. I'm no airsoft expert so I cant take the gun apart. If you need any more info ill post it. Thanks. Last edited by wildrice; January 15th, 2010 at 01:39.. |

Sounds like its your selector plate. Its an electronic plate that allows your motor to fire the mechbox in full auto as long as the trigger is depressed.
If you have some kinda warranty with this gun then I suggest you contact your point of sale. If not you have two options. 1 - (Recommended) Get a hold of a local gun doc (listings for ones in our community are listed at the top of this section) and have him take a look at'r. 2 - Source out a selector plate yourself, find an online guide and fix it yourself. The second option is only if you feel comfortable with yourself to undertake such a task. |

Do you see the selector plate moving back when changing from semi to full? Can you feel if the tension is from the switch itself or something inside? If you got it from 007airsoft, it's better just to contact Ken.

When i switch to semi to full it moves very slightly, and doesnt cover the gold thing if that matters. Yeah ill probaly do that soon too.
