Aimpoint T-1
Looking for personal feedback of the aimpoint t-1 and if anyone knows where to source one IN Canada.
Airsoft version please. AFAIK only MilSpex makes one. http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/ai...l?prodID=26331 Thanks! |

I have one on my MK16, with the high riser it's the perfect size. Came from Huang also.
For the covers I just push them down so they stay below the lenses, but if you don't have the high mount going that may not work well. You have to twist the caps so the amipoint reads vertical vs. horizontal, that keeps the strap below the dials.

I have the EB version, which I thought was the same as Huang's -- but reading the desc (and pic) off RW it appears it's slightly different.
Mine came with the same mounts and caps, as well as tools (allen key and a small wrench) and a knockoff Aimpoint instruction booklet (plasticized, not just a paper foldout). The booklet appears a verbatim copy of the real Aimpoint booklet and probably isn't representative of the knockoff (specs etc). The biggest difference I'm seeing is the EB model has both Red and Green dots (6 levels each). I wanted a green dot on mine since they're easier to see and I wanted the T-1 for use in a scout configuration.

I bought mine off Huang and it's got the riser, red and green dot with 6 different levels. It's a great little piece, looks classy and it keeps its centre on my KSC MP9, and that thing kicks like a mule (airsoft mule, anyway...). I'd recommend it.

Received it today (the one from Huang).
Not impress AT ALL. The mount screws are horrible, 2 won't even screw in. The red dot is not adjustable. For $75 it's a POS |

You mean the brightness or the Elevation/Windage?
Either way, you should talk to Huang: others who got his didn't seem to have this problem, maybe you got a lemon.

The elevation and windage absolutly do not work at all. The top one clicks, but the red dot doesn't move at all. The right one doesn't even click. Huang has been contacted, i think i got a lemon or CP played football with it. |

Like always, Huang impresses me with his great customer services.
The item is being return for a full refund since its defective and he doesn't have any other. New batch arrives around the end of the month. |

So... what's the consensus on the best replica Micro T-1 then?

I've been wondering about this model for a long time:
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/saa-s-16-...dot-sight.html Does Huang's come off the high mount?

The one I got from Huang came with both mounts.
The high is great on my SCAR, and I bet would be good on a M4 also. It's too high for a 416 (and the low's too low). On a P90 the low mount is perfect!

Haven't seen Huang's or the one off RedWolf first hand... Personally I have no problem with the one from EB: everything works, quality is good, comes with both mounts and tools, full trademarks. The LaRue style high mount clears an AN/PEQ-2 and lines up with the iron sights on an M4. The low mount is "as low as you can go" and mounts cleanly as a secondary optic on a magnified scope and is low enough to co-witness the pistol sights (flipped down) on an MP7 or the iron sights on an AK when mounted on an Ultimak style rail (gas tube replacement).
