Yaesu VX-177 USB Programming Cable
After a com disaster during an event last week end, where elements (30mm rain), land, and failure to sucessfully program CTCSS channels in my Yeasu-VX 177 made coms go from bad to worse to even a total failure.
I decided to look for an alternative to manual programming. Here is what I came across: USB Programming cable Yaesu Vertex VX-170 VX-7R VXA-300: 24.99$ US From Afordable Radio on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.ca/USB-Programming-c...item29ff0bc712 => approved by G4HFQ ============================================= Memory management program for the VX-177 FM handheld: 15$ US From G4HFQ :http://www.g4hfq.co.uk/ftb177.htm Here is what the software looks like: (Seems pretty straight forward to me) I think that for under 50$ this makes a really nice bundle. The software allows for radio memory cloning as well, so you can make a common set-up for all your squad/team members. I hope this helps.
