ECWCS Gen II
Hi all,
I would like to know if anyone have any experiences with a H2O Proof ECWCS Gen 2 Parka (by Truspec)? Is it a good product for a range of 150-200$ (considering that I would buy also buy a microfleece liner inside) in order to play during winter? Finally, do any of you have an idea of the temperature range in which I could play with this jacket on... I have read that the first Gen was easily going through -15°C to -25°C so I believe the Gen II would do the same but again I do not have any proof... Thanks for sharing any info Here's what it looks like: http://www.opsgear.com/H2O-Proof-ECW...p/atl-2009.htm

It's just like any other waterproof-breathable hardshell; but you still need an insulating layer when you get down to winter temps.
