Battery Question
I'm just wondering how many of you use lipos, and how many of you both use them... and actually know how to properly charge/maintain/ect them. I used them for a while with my gun wired with deans in the buffer tube. However, when it comes to batteries, charging them, and basically maintaining them so they don't explode/die, I am a complete moron. I liked having my battery in the buffer tube, but I don't know if I have enough knowledge to safely keep my lipo working at %100.

LiPo + expensive charger = best.
With a small light weight lipo , you can squeeze out like 6000-10000 rounds. I had a 11.1V 1900mAh and it squeeze easily 4000 rounds VS my 9.6V 1000mah , 300-400 rounds... Lipo brand doesnt matter as long your charger is expensive. Charger is the #1 thing to have here. I also have a B6 charger. Really amazing for the price. |

I agree LiPo's are great when used properly and by someone who knows what the hell they are doing.
One fact I know nobody knows before they buy a LiPo is that LiPos supply way more amperage than NiMH batteries. So a 7.4v LiPo will provide and ROF just shy of a 9.6v NIMH of the same Mah, depending on what kind of cells you have of course. Anyway be sure to get a protection board and put a fuse in your wiring for safety. I haven't gamed mine yet but I'm already impressed with the performance on my LiPo. But I have it in an ANPEQ on the front of the gun, honestly I'd never put a LiPo in a sealed buffer tube, there's really no point in having a potential pipe bomb next to your face when you can fit a PCB, fuse, trigger master AND 1500mah LiPo all in an ANPEQ-15. |

lipos are great spacesavers too with crazy rof. get the ones with 25c continous discharge and turn your aeg into a bb laser gun.

before this gets too off topic.. I'm pretty aware that lipos are good, I have gamed them several times before, but I was wondering how many of you ACTUALLY know how to properly maintain your lipos.

7.4v 20c lipo is a perfect blend of power and rof.
As per above: bring two batteries to a game, switch em out every 1,500 rounds. Few people use that many rounds anyways. :| Charge/balance before and after every game. |
