Tokyo Marui PDW foldable stock, always this wobbly?
Today, I finished installing the Marui PDW stock onto my Maruzen Mp5k GBB. Everything is excellent except for a minor annoyance. The Marui stock has a slight wobble to it at connection 3 (see pic). In fact, it's a problem that has nothing to do with fitting it to the Maruzen (or any other gun for that matter) since the part where it wobbles is in the stock itself.
Does anyone know of a fix? |

I've found the same thing with mine. And mine was brand new straight from the factory. It was snug for a while but loosened up quickly. I think there's a screw working itself loose where the abs stock attaches to the metal base. I've been thinking about spliting the stock down the seam and see if I can't tighten it up and then apoxy the stock back together but I haven't gotten around to it.

So far, I have been able to do a quick fix by shimming it. |

Mine has a slight split in it (where the two halves are separating), I just put some tape on it, fixed it a bit but not fully.

My PDW stock widens at the split seam and becomes more wobbly. I push the 2 halves together and it is better for a while then they open up again.
This requires that I push the two halves together several times during a day's use. I have never taken it apart so I do not know how the halves are held together. Can anybody show it? |

Mine is splitting at the base as well.
