Is a UTG l96 good or bad?

I was thinking of getting a UTG l96 for my next airsoft gun and i was wondering if it was a good gun. It has a good fps and lots of metal parts. The package comes with a bipod, a sling, and a spare mag. But no scope so i would have to buy the scope seperately. It all comes in around $200 plus tax and shipping.
Is it a good gun?

It is generally frounded upon to help non AV'd members in their decision to purchase a weapon.

but I will tell you this. No sniper rifle is worth buying if it is that cheap. You will have no edge over other players with AEGs, my G3 is more accurate and shoots further then a lot of good BA rifles.

On another note, if this rifle fires over 330 FPS you will not be allowed to game it in atlantic canada.

Head over to www.atlanticairsoft.org and get AVd then you will have access to the buy/sell srea of this forum where you can get much better rifles for only a little more then the $200 for that UTG.

FPS doesn't mean shit?

Even though it may sound nice, the things prolly gonna fall apart on you from insufficient internals. Get an AEG.

I waited 4 years before I could play / buy a weapon. I used that time to read A LOT of information. learn the rules and ask questions.

Because of this, I was seen as a very mature person with a lot of respect from the player base before I even started playing! I also had the time to save up a lot of money and buy myself a weapon thats full metal and wood. and has NEVER stopped working on me.

Please wait before getting a rifle, it is WELL worth it.
