Kj kp-05

So I just emailed Mach1 about the KJ KP-05 "Hi Capa" and Shinobii replied informing me that they're now illegal to import. This is totally news to me...am I the only one?

As much fact as it gets from a retailer telling me what he's been told by customs and the manufacturer.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda....as with anything airsoft, snap 'em up when you can...

The canadian legal system is a joke, it's legal to import any non-prohibited firearm (Rifles, shotguns, pistols), but yet we can't import "replica's" how ridiculous. They really need to revise the Criminal Code, come on guys it's been like 15 years!.

what about the m9's and glocks? I can't believe this but i'm not too surprised. You'd think they wouldn't even allow completely clear aeg's then just for resembling a firearm this is beyond stupid. And to the_hellspawn I was going to do the same (well for a first gbb altogether) oh well i'll just wait until I have a little more to throw around and get a tm hicapa. Thanks canadian border services. You're great.

It's fact. The midframe is the actual "receiver" of the Hicapa.

I had asked Ken of 007 why it was not illegal to be importing the clear-gripped metal frame KJW Hicapas when they first came out. At that time he said it was fine, or customs said it was fine, but it turns out it's not.

I SO called that one.

I knew that, I wanted to know if it was a fact that CBSA knew it and was now enforcing it.

The M9s and the Glocks have a plastic bottom base and for that reason they have not made those illegal to import ... yet. The Hi-Capa only has the grip in tinted plastic, not the whole base.

Basically, anything that is "NICE" will eventually be made illegal, so, take advantage of what is out and buy what you can before you never see it again !!

You can also use CO2 magazines with the Hi-Capas increasing the FPS to +/- 400 with a crazy kick. It is unfortunate that after I run out of my remaining Hi-Capas I will not be getting any more in
