New to AirSoft

Hi everyone, i am new to airsoft, i am from the GTA area and was wondering if there is any stores to go to and look at guns and gear as well as talk to someone more in depth about the guns and stuff other than what i can find out on the web sites. As well as i was wondering if there are usually alot of people that put used guns and gear for sale here. Any infor would be greatly appreciated.

TONS of guns and gear for sale in the classifieds all the time. Though you have to be age verified which is only possible if your 18. Also 2 stores in toronto, Huangs and I think velocity arms has a store front now.

First, i would suggest getting AV'd so you can access the classifieds where there are tonss of pictures there. You can visit Huang as well who has a small store so you can get more information. There is another unofficial store that is opened, but they want to keep a low profile until their business is fully operational.

If you really want lots of information, ask questions, and do lots of research. But I would HIGHLY suggest that you get AV'd first. Since Im a newb myself, anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong. Thanks

Fill out your profile so that we know where in the GTA you are, and how old you are.

If you're 18+ then I suggest you come out to TTAC3, which runs twice a month right now. There are a lot of experienced players there and it's a great experience.

That is a step in the right direction and you're off to a good start. I'm going out on a limb here and assuming you actually read the FAQ's on the site and if you haven't I suggest you take a look over there right now HERE, any other questions can be directed to your AV rep in person (assuming they have time to chat) cause it's so much easier to get immediate answers in person.

The only real thing you can get outside of this site is gear and is available new or used online (ebay, craigslist, other OEM/specialty companies who manufacture, etc.) or you can take a look at your local army surplus store and try on the gear and ask questions before you buy. To get guns the only place really is here, any other place outside of this site either suck or are at least loosely affiliated with this site in some way (Mach1, 007, CAS, etc.). Also to answer your question, yes there are a lot of used guns in the Classifieds section some stock and used a few times, some upgraded to the tits and used heavily.

EDIT: There is also a section for retailers who support the site (read: sponsor and pay for the site costs so they can advertise) who sell NIB guns and you can sometimes custom order guns but it may cost significantly more than getting used or having a retailer bring common guns in.

thanks for the info man, i intend on asking the av guy alot of questions and i look forward to being able to access the classifieds.
