Canadian issue helmets?
Can anyone tell me what model helmets Canadian forces are currently using? Or how much they would normally cost new or used (if one could find them)?

New ones are made by MSA. I work for an MSA distributor and already talked to our rep about aquiring one. He tells me they won't sell them to civilians. Police & military accounts only. And the list price is about $800.

The Gallet's are readily availaible at most surplus stores. depending on condition be prepared to spend 90-300 on one.

Get a replica. The real ones are heavier than the old M1 steel pot...
