Team Wendy EXFIL helmet

So here it goes, thinking of getting one, the price is pretty steep (500$CAD). Because of this, I am curious how and if I can use it for other purposes. I do like being able to attach gopro to the front. but not sure how much of a bump helmet it is for snowboarding, biking, or other activities.

So I wonder, does it really worth dishing out 500$CAD or should I go with a replica. And if I go with a replica, where can I get a good one. I have never seen a team wendy in person so it is hard to guess which ones are good.

Just a side note, I sweat like hell during each game, one reason I am interested in team wendy is their inner plastic padding.

In my opinion, there are cheaper options than an actual Team Wendy for mounting a GoPro.

Here are a few options

https://www.amazon.ca/Tactical-Outdo.../dp/B00XY77ZX6

http://www.jsairsoft.com/team-wendy-...eplica-bk.html

Both are local to Canada, so no issues shipping them in or anything like that. As to the quality, I cant really attest to that.

I'm really not too sure, sorry man :/ I dont expect it to be like the real one, but if its just for a GoPro and the look, then I believe that this will suffice

The link that I listed above will be the best option for a budget military/bump helmet. The PT A-Bravo has EN 1385 (Watersports) and EN 12492

(Mountaineering) certification. Meaning that it provides adequate protection for Watersports and Mountaineering only. I have heard of people using

mountaineering helmets for back country skiing, however, the users run the risk of injury because of the different requirements for helmet certification.

I have used the PT A-Bravo for skiing before, however there is always a risk that it may not protect me adequately.

There are plenty of Technical/Outdoor companies that make "Tactical" versions of various helmets such as the Petzel Vertex Vent Mountaineering Helmet.

Team Wendy has a mountaineering helmet for SAR that features a NVG mount.
