Im useing this EOtech with my Aimpoint 3x and it works great the aimpoint mount sits alittle low those so a higher mount might be a good idea

Got mine in today, really great buy, there's a little bit of ghosting (i think thats what its called) but to be honest for 40$ im extremely happy with the buy, shipping was nly about two weeks and it was free, and im on PEI so overll i would definitely suggest picking one up. Also theres no Eotech trades but everything else is there.

Just got mines from the post office. Pretty impressed on the quality build. Don't think my windage and elevation works o.O other wise theres a bit of ghosting but 40$ well spend.

I was able to get my windage and elevation to work Although it seems I have to turn the opposite way of its directions lol...

*If only it had the EOTECH trademark hehe* Oh wells....

If only you could get DE paint, that would be fantastic.

Worth he 40$! Especially when you have buddy's that want some too!
Bought about 4 in total and great as a backup sight.

Just ordered mine. . I hav a question about this. How far does your eye have to be away from the reticule to be able to focus on the reticule and the area you are trying to aim at?

Okay, would you guys recommend this scope for a newbie? I have a VFC SCAR-L. This would be great improvement over my iron sights, correct? Also, what exactly is "ghosting?" Maybe I am being dumb, but I couldn't find something solid on Google. I found out what Parallax was though, thankfully.

Or, should I wait and splurge on more expensive sights? (I would prefer not to :P)

I'm going to play a few games with my iron sights first though.

Thanks!

What my question is, does the element of surprise work on a typical airsoft match?

IMHO, it's more for the looks than functionnality (Just like airsoft, almost).

The farther the sight is, the smaller the crosshair is going to be. On a M4, mine is about over the magwell.

2, it is not parallax-fixed, meaning that if you are not exactly in the same stance (let's say, cheek on the stock, you're going to be off-center.

So get BUIS if you really want to double-check.

Elen, knock on the side lightly, sometimes, the mechanism is stuck.
