Quick question for some of the more experianced SAW users out there.
Finally taking to leap and going Lipo.
Wondering on what would be the best option battery for a TOP M249 with upgraded gears. I rebuilt everything and you can see the work done on an earlier portion of this thread.
Keep in mind I'm still learning the lipo world and not to familiar with it
Has anybody done it before? And what issues should I address:
1) Battery storage: In the forestock or in the battery box?
2) What battery to actually get?
3) Should I install protection like a fuse or Mosfet?
If anybody has any input it would be greatly appriciated

My first suggestion would be to get rid of the TOP and get a CA, A&K or ECHO1.

Well G&P has no safety, it just KICKS ASS.
The fact that it uses a ver. 2 gearbox and has no quickspring change automatically makes it inferior to the CA IMO.
