You seem to be all for as much realism as possible, so I'd have expected you to accept listening to your enemy, but yet you say you should be banned......

Just what kinda standards do you play by?

BTW, I'm all for banning people whom go out of bounds to get an advantage on your eneny.

Stay within in the designated area's and use ALL of it to your advantage, like going 25 feet up a tree and listening to your enemy.

There is absolutely nothing that says I cannot do that.

It seem's wearing this up a tree makes me invisible, especially when using black bb's.

I find it very amusing tho, as NOONE has EVER spotted me up there. Have 23 kills from using that tactic.

An I garuantee you I have absolutely no intention in giving up my effective tactics.
Ok, well I assume everyone would agree not to listen in on radio comms because this is not real war nor are the fields usually every that big. But if everyone agrees to freedom of the radio, go for it. This doesn't exactly apply to the situation of hicaps though.

There is no way you're fitting 300 rounds into an Armalite mag in real life. Even if everyone agrees to it, you have to admit the whole idea is still pretty knobbish for the reasons already stated!

Confused...

Rumpel Felt,

Seriously man, pick a side. You keep beating around the bush, not quite committing to one side or the other. Do you like Hicaps or not? I'm tired of your double speak and innuendo. Decide for once and stick to it!

How is a statement like "Nothing I hate more than hicaps" supposed to let us know how you feel?

Saying "if your excuse for using hicaps is "it's easier", get the fuck out of airsoft!." doesn’t make it any more clear for me either.

Once you decide to stop fence sitting let us all know.

Personally I don’t care if you use highcaps, midcaps, lowcaps, realcaps or a loading tube as a blow gun. It is how one uses the above and how they play that makes the difference between a fun and crap day for me.

Haha!

How was anything I said conflicting??

I'm spewing off far more ANTI hicap rage than anyone else, except maybe swatt13.

I HATE THEM! Is that clearer!?

Hicaps are one of the most major let downs in airsoft! They should not exist! They are a laughing stock! They just plain suck ass all around! They make me ashamed infront of paintballers....they make us look only 5x better instead of 20x!

So you see....

so now that i know everybody's hatred of high caps how do you feel about c-mags? ( because it is more realistic to have the abnormally high amount of ammo).

C-Mags on an MP5 or M4/M16 series, for example, does not an LMG make. It just looks douche-y, especially if you're trying to use it as an "LMG".

High Cap and folded Stock = tag with bbs

There is a correlation between the use of High Capacity magazines and the reliance upon volume of fire to achieve results.

This is often coupled with poor weapon handling.. and in general low combative stills.

Although there are exceptions, in which people who are skilled resort to highcaps and hosing.. in order to compete against hords of poorly skilled players.

Often times I will see a player running around with his stock folded... the tell tale "shaka shaka" of a highcap apparent... firing 6 second bursts...each one the equivilant of 3.5 realcap magazines...
For him... the airsoft gun is just a BB delivery device.. to be used in his silly game of "tag with BBs "

It is doubtless that the highcap user has his measure of fun... but it is not the kind of fun I enjoy....and so when such players invade a more structured game... they simply ruin it as surely as a player who refuses to akcnowledge hits ruins a game and sours the experiance for everyone.

it is for this reason alone that highcap magazines are banned at both of my establishments... and I don't care if thats all you have... that is all you have because that is all you want... and so that alone is enough to exclude you as a player I want anywhere near my establishments.

I like using lowcaps, thats what I do with my M4 but in some cases I have to use my Uzi (tho I think I'll be using my buddys mp5 at borderwar) and I only have 2 hi-caps for it. So I use what I have. It may not be "the best" but I try to balance realism with what I gots.

This is a game. Who F'n cares if they use a high cap or not, as long as they show up play by the rules and have fun. If you're into realism join the military get shot at for real. I own all three, high caps, mid caps and lows I use them in accordance with the game rules.

well if a rifle is using high cap, then whats the point of buying an M249 that costs twice as much as the rifle and does the exact same thing?

But coupled with Carter, it's fucking hot. And that isn't a normal M4/M16.

well obviously people do care so dont type a stupid response saying who cares because its quite evident.

so you guys dont mind if someone uses a high cap as long as their gun suites the part and they are actually playing the part of a lmg or support?

Only works if it's enforced. I've been to at least 2 games where there was suppose to be a round limit and it didn't stop people from using duel G36 highcaps.
