Phantom CIRAS (Maritime Version) - For all you peeps that were wondering

got mine last night. took some time to get it fitting right and I keep moving pouches around.
The padding inside has got to be cut down, it feels like ass.

I also got the CB phantom M249 pouch. Its bitching. holds 6 mags(armalite of AK) and even comes with a removable dump pouch cover.

remove the cummerbun (dirty deeds' idea). that's what i did. now i just slip it over my head when i need to use it. very practical and less "bulky" time adjusting it.

Note, pouches are all set lower then they will be for games. Also have assorted M4 and Ak mags to strech out the pouches.

I have a Maritime medium in coyote brown, the best gear i bought so far. I'm pretty please with my setup.

Bought the Phantom hydration system from 1337 tactical (good service, communication and fast shipping) and it fit the vest like a glove. Next purchase will be the m249/dump pouch.

The CB colour goes great with multicam. Overall this is a great rig for anyone.

im really impressed with the dump/249 pouch. The its slightly less brown then the stuff that comes with the carrier, but its close enough.
Though they say the CIRAS pouches can hold 3 mags, its not easy with 2 even. As it was, I could only carry 8 mags...now, I can carry 14 easy.
The pouch can take a saw mag, or you can velcro in the mag divider.

Two questions:

First, whats the difference between the "maratime" version of this vest and the "land" version?

Also, does anybody know if these pouches will fit g3 magazines?

A. airsoft is the way to go.
B. this is a AIRSOFT site.
C. chack out www.opsgear.com or www.specialopspaintball.com theres a lot more site just need to look.
D. a pouch that holds 2 M4 mags with hold a 50 round nicely.

Actually I am into both sports (Scenario Paintball, and Airsoft) and since the MOLLE feature is so convienient, I was thinking that it would be a good idea to have one vest for both sports.

Hey, got three questions here...

First (maybe it already have been talked about, but I want to be sure), Will the CIRAS fit AK74 mags? It think it should since its M16' mag pouches but, they look a little tight.

Second, "Full Set" on ASC Armory means the vest will come with all pouches shown, right?

Lastly, I'm 5'7"/5'8" (approx.) 165lbs. Am I going with Small or Medium?
