Another company in the US has these available for preorder right now. They're $399.99. Is a functional version (not like prototype 1), has an updated safety, and a sling swivel were the most notable. Safe, semi, 2 round burst, and full auto shooting modes. Long mag holds 49 rounds. And according to the chrony from the video, its making an average of 350 fps with .25g bb's.

thats because KWA doesnt have a MRSP for it.

so you can be paying full price, over the price, or under the price with all these pre-orders.

Just confirmed from KWA today.. 'there is no set release date for the KWA Kriss Vector. When we can confirm pricing and availability, we will be sure to contact you in advance for your pre-order."

That tells me that the 'december 18' date continues to be a rumor, as does the price that has been posted.

Until KWA actually releases information on it, anything anyone else posts about availability or price continues to be rumor and speculation.

Thats great that they are making the Vector but damn where is the mp5?! Guarantee they would sell far more Mp5's than Vectors. I wrote KWA about this and they replied that "the Vector was a challenge for the design team." Thats warm and fuzzy and all but I want a KWA Mp5 gbb!!

VFC already has an MP5 GBB with a gas-in-mag system... why reinvent the wheel?

whats wrong with making a new system? if it's better, why not?
variety and competition is good for all. as it forces innovation.

That's great that VFC has already made an MP5 GBB but I want a KWA GBB MP5. It baffles me that KWA still hasn't made the MP5 as it is one of the most popular sub-machines ever. Just my opinion.

This is true, especially since the VFC is flawed in some regards.

I'm just curious as to why blind faith is being put in to a system that hasn't even been developed yet. KSC's put out some flawed systems... some haven't even been fixed in almost a decade (look at the MP9, for example), so it's not like they have a perfect SMG GBB track record.

Not that I have a hate on for KSC... I have a number of their products.

It's just the blind faith that baffles me.

Marui is 1 for 1 with their MP7, and I'd like to see THAT system, and Marui's best-in-class hop up system applied to an MP5 platform. I would rather see that system transplanted in, over the KSC System 7.

Companies never fix flaws because dealers give little or no warranty and customers continue to buy and fix the problems themselves.

Perfect business model because airsoft consumers allow it.

I just think if you are a KWA fan you would like to see an MP5 gbb model. An MP5 is a core gun just like the M4 is for assault rifles. The MP7 feels just too small to me. The MP5 is a happy medium.

... combined with stubborn Japanese companies who believe their product is absolutely perfect and requires no fixing. It took what... 13 years before Marui fixed their Armalite series? LOL

Anyways, that's all off topic. Sorry for the thread derail.

With all that said, I'm looking forward to the KRISS Vector. It looks bad ass, in my opinion.

The KRISS is one exciting product in a long time. Getting mine once it is available. Just hope it won't be flawed and break the bank at the same time.
