They suck.
Boogie Regulators/Elites are designed for jumps, not really designed for land warfare. Far too close to your eyes so you get considerable condensation build up.

Use ESS low profile NVG's.

Smith optics OTW are also good, but I still prefer my ESS goggles above everything else.

I find them fine. Paired with the Revision Anti-fog wipes and I get no fog build up whatsoever.

I would hope so, considering they are anti-fog wipes...
But that implies that they would fog if you didn't use anti-fog wipes. Correct?

Actually, I used dish soap (old anti-fog trick) on the inside of the lens and had zero fog, and I was playing for 7 hours straight in the scorching heat. I did get a bit of condensation at times (mostly sweat streaking on the inside), but there were guys with Desert Locust fan goggles that had the same issue. Especially once you get moving everything clears up. I was sweating like crazy and very hot, but the fog and condensation, to my surprise, wasn't much of an issue.

My only MAJOR con with these was the fact that it is closed cell foam, meaning not half as much air permeability as the foam on the locust goggles gives, AND, because it is much stiffer, they chaffed my face quite a bit. Mind you, I was playing for 7 hours with only 2 five minute breaks to reapply some dish soap, these became quite uncomfortable to wear over extended periods. I will probably reinvest in a good set of low-pro fan goggles as these goggles are good for a skirmish, but not for long periods of wear in a milsim. It's a shame because, especially with the ignitor lens, you get such great contrast and a fantastic sight picture; they're just very uncomfortable for long game play.

This was another thing we hated about them. Nothing beats that Boogie regulator imprint on your face after a 8hr+ game.

Yeah, that's really the biggest downfall. I played on Sunday at Finch Field and I still have a little redness over the bridge of my nose. Great for a couple hours of skirmish, but anything past that I would say is a no-no for these bad boys.

I sweat excessively just doing nothing, so I'd probably need anti-fog wipes for virtually any type of goggles. I've had the Oakley ballistic goggles, the ESS NVG's, Revision Locusts, these Smith Optics, and a pair of fake Bolle X800's. The only pair that didn't fog were the fake X800's and that was because there were huge gaps all over the place.

One idea that myself and some other individuals had was cutting slits about 5mm wide every inch along the foam for the SO Boogies to allow for more ventilation. Seeing as they won't be my main pair I may give this a try and post to my thread whenever I actually get to give them a try like that. Can't hurt.

Yep, divers use it a lot. You take a drop on your finger, rub it on the inside of the lens, wait for it to dry a bit, and then buff it off with a microfiber cloth.

After some detective work I found a base jump to use as a temp helmet until more Ballistics come onto the market or Crye starts making lids
that will fit my head. Pretty stoked about only having to wait two days; not fourteen weeks for this lol.
Came home from a wedding this weekend to two packages on my doorstep.

Waiting for the real goodies to show up. Night enforcer, Wilcox steel, Manta, ect.



Going to re-purpose it as a climbing/atv helmet after.
