At least it feeds well. Massive amount of problems with the drum mag, hopefully remedied by the tape put in to keep the feed tube in place.

OK, now my mags misfeed like motherfuckers because I left them loaded for a few days by accident.

Anyone know how to take apart the G&P Bakelite midcaps? I gotta stretch the springs- it's definitely not the gun as hicaps and the drum mag feed fine.

Also, any ideas on how to fit this on would be great-

you will need to cut off the rear stock tangs from the reciever and remove the stock trunnion, then simply loosen the 2 screws on the end of that and slide into place and the tighten the screws again, i have the same one on my ak47

woah wait, you wanted to fit it on the gun in the pic? or a regular ak body?

hmm not exactly sure, good place to start would be where the hinges connect to the receiver on your current stock, honestly your gun already has a folding stock tho and it is sexxy, y would you want to change that?

I like this stock a bit better after seeing a PMC with it, also my folding stock clashes with my RDS and won't fold when I have it on.

ahh i see, for functional reasons that's kool. i had an underfolding stock before but it broke so when i got a metal body i got the AIMS to put onto it, strip the gun and see if the hinges are welded to the gun or how they are otherwise attached, you may need to cut the hinges off if the are part of the receiver and attach the AIMS

Fuck, don't really want to cut hinges off- may just rig up something to replace the stock altogether.

Pictures please, I love AIMS.

I'd suggest getting a different body and just swapping them, not the easiest solution but better than wrecking a perfectly good aks-74 body

Ooh, that's fucking nice.
I was thinking something more along the lines of taking the stock off and just having a rig machined to replace it, as the lock is part of the piece that attaches to it it shouldn't be hard at all to just have the block placed where my stock used to be.

No such thing, unfortunately- only thing I can think of is a stock that folds to the right (the AIMS). The scope mount's the only thing that'll work without an ugly front rail.
