Yes the echo 1 comes with a gearbox a little bit stronger then the Tm supossibly and CA gears.

The upgraded internals include a higher rated spring, and I assume steel bushings. As for gearbox quality, the TM GB is built to a much higher standard, much better QC, and I would trust the TM gearbox over a JG one anyday. I've heard that most of the China guns are shimmed and greased pretty badly, and both should be re-done in short order if one wants the gun to last.

would you trust a JG/ECHO with a drop in system M120 mechbox or a TM? Tm's last since they are only shooting 280, put in a M110 or 120 with nothing else and you will see problems-for the same money I think I would rather have the systema internals with a metal RIS. You are right that the shimming/grease should be checked.

An Echo/JG costs about 2/3 the price of a TM. I agree with trevor in that if you plan on upgrading the internals, you're better off with an Echo/JG as they are cheaper and the money you save can go towards upgrades. Echo/JG are compatible with aftermarket parts afterall.

+1 to the both of you!
andrew, I know we all seems like such jerks but I mean, we all want cheap goods, hell I'd do it if it wasn't illegal. Think from that view point. Everyone here knows more about importing replica guns so we try to warn others about it and by reading the FAQs, it will give you a good idea of how the importing laws work within Canada; not to mention nobody here will sell you guns if you're not age verified. you can hit up games with just a gun and play in civs. May stick out in the woody part, but fun to play.
