Yes tightbores are nice Make sure you have the right threading, regular silencers dont work on the gspec so you'll need either an adaptor or a silencer that's made specifically for the gspec.
As for trigger, i find the VSR to be really nice and light pull, and you don't have to mess around with the safety or trigger if you upgrade the spring, the trigger pull doesn't change much at all. check out some guides on VSR upgrades, its easy to swap springs AFTER you do it the first time, which you'll have to drill a pin out of the cylinder to get it out which is apparently very difficult if you only have a handheld drill.

I'm going to be ordering my upgrades sometime next month. You wanna do a group order? I'm going to be heading to my brother-in-law's to use his drill press to get the piston head retention screw out. If you want I can take your piston out there when I do it and do yours. Quote:
On another note, anyone know how easy it would be to replace the stock with a wood stock? The VSR-10 is a rough replica of a Remington model 700 so I'm curious if anyone has tried to use a real-steel stock. |

you would have to do alot of work because the mag well isnt where a real steel one is or anything.

....GETTING A LITTLE OF TOPIC HERE AREN"T WE.......SUMOJOE14 had specifically stated his intended fps limit for sniping.... which is compairable to the max fps limits of most AEG's for field use.
I will not suggest any particular airsoft for him, but I will l state that if he intends to limit (or challange) himself with BA sniper gun, pitting that 1 shot per manual reload between shots, against the swarming 12 plus rounds per second of your standard AEG, that a BA is definitly the way to go. But seriously, if you intend to keep your fps below 400, then go with a semi auto electric, such as a PSG-1 , or that new electric Enfield type model (for example), otherwise you will be greatly disappointed in the fact that you will be out gunned. However, if you ever consider becoming serious about sniping, the the only way to go is a BA. Hope this is somehow benifical to you SUMOJOE14. SHA DO
