Super light weight and require almost no break in, my feet have never been so COMFY!
The side-zip is a nice feature too...easy on & off!

Dunno if this will be a problem or not for you, but I had some friends who had those boots, well the ones without the side zipper since they can blow out. The sole isn't actually stitched to the boot, it's just glued in. In Afghanistan due to the heat and wear, the glue started melting the the sole started to peel off.

Good thing I'm not going to Afghanistan...no problems so far with mine!

I know your not going to Afghanistan Just letting you know of a problem associated with the boots as it may still be something that you might face with constant wear with the boots. Heat may not be a problem here in Canada, but if you are using them constantly the glue may still give out.

Good that you don't have any problems with them though.

Magnum Stealth Force 8.0 W/ Side Zipper. Use em pretty much every day, in and out of the car for at least 10 hours a day.

I had a older pair of Magnum Stealths that I still use for airsoft, over 3 years old and counting.

I can attest to that. One of my buddies had them and the glue indeed started to melt about 3-4 months into the tour.

I have a pair of Asolo FSN 95 on the way. Got them for $94 + shipping, couldn't pass up that deal. Currently I am using a pair of surplus desert 8" boots. Here is a link if you are interested http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/,...f-For-Men.html
I got a coupon code for an additional 25% off bringing them under $100. They also ship to Canada.

+1. Workmanship on these is spotty, too. I had a pair of ripple soles that I had to send back because the stitching blew out on them literally the very first time I wore them (3 hour hike). Replacements were no better - blew out second time I wore them. Altama ended up refunding my money.
