That was how I had first set my SR-25 but have gone back to the regular look of the M110.

That sounds absolutely ridiculous, horrendous, yet amazing all at the same time. It is staying black for now.. So clean and pretty haha.
However once I game it enough and it gets worked up and scratched up, then I'll take care of it.

Real steal Knights ArmCo rail covers and vert grip on the way . (They aren't ITAR restricted right..? I'm fairly certain they aren't.)

Come on man...

You don't paint a custom engraved receiver... You paint a CA25, because the markings are shite.

ujiro - Don't you dare paint that thing - you'll break my heart! LOL

bruce - That's sexy as hell.

Haha don't worry man, it will stay black for a long while. Maybe one day I might paint it, but longer after it gets scratched up. For the time being, nice clean black.

New pics added to the OP with the new real steel KAC vert grip and rail covers!
Edit: also restored the gas block and silencer to black. Next step: paint the trades. Step after that: buy a scope to go into my Knight's type scope mount :P.

Soon to come: New pictures, with proper 600m flip up rear sight (VFC), and Leupold MK4 M1 scope (a la M110 SASS). Originally planned to do it more Mk 11 Mod 0, but I prefer the look of the MK4 scope to the M3.

In the end, which optics doesn't really make a difference. I am just basing this off of the KAC website. They show the M110 SASS with the MK4, and the MK11 MOD0 with an M3.
It will be a MK11 Mod0, with a MK4 instead.

Will one day buy an Ares M110 SASS tho...
