Given that "MSI" never came back after that one post, it seems pretty clear it was them. Coupled with the news (don't remember exactly, I think it was on Arnie's: scheduled for June if I'm not mistaken) that Magpul PTS was going to be releasing P-MAGs for AEGs -- most likely manufactured by MS Infinity.

I doubt they were here looking out for Magpul's intellectual property rights out of the goodness of their hearts: they have a vested interested in not having unlicensed clones hit the market.

Magpul has had a degree of success in at least severely limiting the sale of knockoff CTR stocks. Knockoff MIAD grips seem to have vanished. The Daniel Defense cloned front ends also seem to have disappeared after DD took notice.

You don't have to block all the sales, just make it hard enough to turn a profit to make it not worth bothering with.
