Yeah I have a KJW P229, and like Illusion said, it takes half a second.

uhh... not even.

1. Point gun to ground
2. Flick slide release lever counter-clockwise a quarter turn
3. Gravity will pull the slide off, sending it crashing down on to the ground.

Well... at least that's the fastest way of doing it one-handed... If you want to keep it in good condition, replace "gravity" with "other hand".

Ok I think I need a little help getting the slide off. I can turn the slide release lever downwards (clockwise) 90 degrees, not counter clockwise. The slide still wont come off (push forward Im guessing). There is what looks like a spot for a hex key when I push the lever downwards. What am I doing wrong?

My KJW P229 slides right off once the tab is pointing downwards.
You DO have the magazine out right?

Take the mag out. That's the only thing that should be blocking it. The hex/allen key bolt you see has nothing to do with takedown.

the mag was out, it was a tiny piece of material that was jamming it, once I got that out it works totally fine. Thanks!
