Yeah I have a KJW P229, and like Illusion said, it takes half a second.

uhh... not even.
1. Point gun to ground 2. Flick slide release lever counter-clockwise a quarter turn 3. Gravity will pull the slide off, sending it crashing down on to the ground. Well... at least that's the fastest way of doing it one-handed... If you want to keep it in good condition, replace "gravity" with "other hand". |

Ok I think I need a little help getting the slide off. I can turn the slide release lever downwards (clockwise) 90 degrees, not counter clockwise. The slide still wont come off (push forward Im guessing). There is what looks like a spot for a hex key when I push the lever downwards. What am I doing wrong?

My KJW P229 slides right off once the tab is pointing downwards.
You DO have the magazine out right? |

Take the mag out. That's the only thing that should be blocking it. The hex/allen key bolt you see has nothing to do with takedown.

the mag was out, it was a tiny piece of material that was jamming it, once I got that out it works totally fine. Thanks!
