As he said, it's already in Canada.
However, I wouldn't have taken the risk. If it gets caught, you get blacklisted by Customs.

It's in Canada, or is it in a thrash basket somewhere in a canadian customs office?

Well, the thread started off good, and this specific TM clone seems to be worth some attention.

I say, mods, chop the last two pages of the thread! ;-)

Agreed, I will take a pic when I get the gun delivered to me in a week.

Cut the BS up top out and lets continue the discussion of the UTG MP5

How come almost all forums show some sort of support for this gun, yet you guys are so quick to judge it yet you have not experienced it first hand?

This isnt some 39.99 special off ebay, it costs 100 - 119 USD, meaning its only about 100 USD cheaper than the TM, the only real difference is the muzzle is made out of plastic.

everything else is pretty much the same in this gun.

Muzzle is plastic, sites and front end are plastic, selector is plastic. Basically anything other then body pins is plastic. Atleast marui makes all of that metal on their mp5's.

Maybe its also because the UTG's have piss poor wiring, connections, bad compression, bad orings in the cylinder.. feeding and loading problems using those little hicaps. Im just reading other forums and pointing out what people are having to fix.

Even if, to fix thoes problems is cheap, and still dosnt come close to the value of the TM

WOO! 4 pages of POINTLESS!

How come the same thing happens EVERY TIME something new comes out?

...

Nobody KNOWS anything firsthand, and there's no point in speculating and "discussing" (as per this thread), until someone from THIS community, with our expectations and standards at heart, tries this item PERSONALLY.

Until someone here has put one through its paces, the only thing to discuss in a thread like this is where to get the damned thing.

That applies to BOTH PARTIES (supporters and doubters).

Hyping a product you "heard" or "read" was great is just as ridiculous as knocking a product you've never tried. [ you all know who you are ]

(though I suspect the latter is, in this case, the conclusion of an educated guess... you do, generally, get what you pay for)

That being said, I'd like to see how the UTG sniper rifle fares...
