just a question for all the shotgun owners/users out there...

which is the best useable shell eject shotgun, mostly cqb ... but can actually stand up to being used with Madbull shells? (and possibly the airsoft slugs if I can get my hands on em)

I've seen the a tanaka in use, but it needed ALOT of custom work to stand up to use... would a Marushin be a better choice?

The madbull shells only work in the tanaka. Marushin shells only hold bb's and the gas is held in an internal resevoir in the stock (IIRC)

I actually had one .. very beasty .. but the 8mm ammo was a PITA .. and alot of people were freaked out and didn't want it on the field .. etc etc etc ...

so I'm actually looking for a 5 shot 6mm

and trying to figure out which shell ejector to go after too ... looks like I might have to go down the hair pulling road of the tanaka ..

so something just came to mind.. and I'm SURE I'm not the only one this thought has come too (I would be astounded if I'm the first to think it)

bypassing the obvious issues with the Tanaka Shell eject for reliability with game use

why couldn't we just mod the Madbull shells to run like the CL slugs... or in essense a smaller version of the Madbull multi grenade shells... some tissue and a small handfull of bb's and you've got general use shotshell ... those plugs for the S thunder shells.. you've got your own version of the CL slug (and people that hate you ) ... hell want CQB slugs... nerf darts?

none of this would be easy or cheap... but given what people want out of airsoft shotguns... might be an option? ...

I dont know if this was mentioned or not but the Hwa San double barrel sawed-off shotgun is pretty sick. Its full metal, real wood and has a 7bb burst per shell (x2 for 2 barrels) powered by gas. BUT it might sound like a fart.

A bit of a necro, but to answer an old question asked here, and everywhere else: "what is the most gameable shell ejector?" and I say Maruzen M870
Maruzen M870 needs no internal upgrades for reliability, only mods to the hammer spring to increase power, my maruzen M870 has half of a TSC 150% hammer spring for we M4 modded as its hammer spring, and pushes past 360 fps with 1 BB, with 3 BBs i get a 6" spread out to 60-70 feet before it really drops off,I gamed it last saturday and had more fun than id had in a long long time, not to mention when you eject, youre tossing little blue plastic tubes on the ground, not $20 mini 203 shells

Also @ above, the Hwasan shells are terrible, leaky and finnicky, and nothing much you can do about it

good catch! This is a very best value shotgun I would say, SY8870. Spring action and single bb shot. Full metal very solid and too heavy so I have to make it reduce the weight.

Just a bought a G&P M870 today. Do they take real steel grips, stocks, scope mounts? I was thinking of putting the Magpul SGA and Magpul Moe on it.

It's fixable. Is just they use a wrong o-ring( possible high temp one). Frist shot is fine, because the gas release from the shell and cause low temperature effect and made the o-ring shink and missing sealing function. then start to leak. It's hard to find the same one but use some blue glue seal it will work perfectly. I have four of them and now still good. I use propane and shoot even better.
