Kinetic Energy = 1/2 mass * velocity^2. With the same energy (Joule from gun) and an increase in BB mass simply yields less velocity (FPS). Subsequently, there's the change in grouping and range as well.
Well I don't know it's been debated a couple times here. I still have to see any proof of whether or not this is true! lol.

Just A point

For those of you in Ontario unless this has become Ontario Airsoft do not assume the bylaws and general airgun rules are the same across the country. Where he is playing in BC it is not an issue.

It's a gas rifle, so there will be less of a drop in velocity using heavier BBs than one will see in a spring powered rifle. So if you take a 0.36g BB, it'll drop about 100fps from a 0.20g in a spring powered rifle, but would only drop about 40-60fps if shot from a gas powered rifle.

Well that's nice, but doesn't change the fact that what you're doing is illegal and not supported or condoned by these forums.

How about this?

Stop because you're breaking the law, endangering our sport, pissing off us, and the people that live around your buddy, lying about your age (speculation), and killing any hope of a half-decent reputation on this forum.

You have been informed as to what is considered to be acceptable behavior in regards to airsoft and its use. Feel free to continue doing so as you please but you will do so without the support of this community.
