Nice video. I'm surpised by the quality of the slow motion.
What was the camera used?

Please forgive me if this should be posted elsewhere, but after lobbing these a few times today, I have some questions. I'm sure MadMax can give us all some clarification on these points:

1. The instructions call for two drops of "Carl's Extra Special, Hot & Spicy" grenade oil every two uses. Why not 1 drop every use? It may be less convenient for some people, but seems simpler to me.

2. Is there any problem with loading BBs *before* charging with gas? My reason for this is the 'Nade could be pre-loaded with BBs (which is the most time-consuming part of the whole procedure) then filled with gas just before setting up at the field.

3 Similar to #2, any concern with storing BBs inside the 'Nade for extended periods of time?

1. Probably because 1 drop isn't enough to coat the piston walls?

2. No, I think it's just a safety precaution. I've done it both ways. And yes that's actually a good idea.

3. No concern, since there's no springs to wear out. The BB's sit inside freely.

-two drops usually ends up getting more oil inside the valve body. A single drop can spread too thinly and not drip down into the valve body.

2. Is there any problem with loading BBs *before* charging with gas? My reason for this is the 'Nade could be pre-loaded with BBs (which is the most time-consuming part of the whole procedure) then filled with gas just before setting up at the field.

-loading gas first gives a grenade more time to warm up while you're crunching in bbs. Between frequent CQB skirms giving your grenade more time to warm up can help a lot.

3 Similar to #2, any concern with storing BBs inside the 'Nade for extended periods of time?[/quote]

-you can store bbs inside a grenade with no ill effect.

Very slight. I wouldn't even call it rattling.
You can tell there's BB's in there.

I've pimped your nades on the militaryphotos.net "latest acquisition thread."
http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...postcount=9884

Someone mentioned a competitors product, VFC Maple-leaf grenades.
http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums...postcount=9899

Anyone looking to provide a their experiences with the VFCs?

Keep in mind I've got my Tornadoes right here beside me. These things kick ass.

Don't own any but did some reading on the VFC ones, they only hold 72 BB's, they don't spin so don't have a spherical blast radius, you're supposed to lube the BB's with silicone oil before loading them, they cost US$72 so only slightly cheaper than the tornado, and they say robust but the metal parts on the top of the grenade look easy to break since there is a 99% chance they are made of potmetal.
