anything else us westerners can do to help let us know. i have this link posted on forums from kelowna airsoft all the way to prince george and vancouver island. can you pm the police report number? perhaps i can pass it on to our local r.c.m.p. here, also d.s. tactical in new westminister is a supplier for "issued gear" for vancouver law enforcement as well as E.R.T. i could pass along the file number to him and spread the word even further.

This is similar to a number of break ins around the McCowan & Steeles Area a year or two ago, similar style of break ins.

My bet is that these will turn up police raids sometime in the future, the thieves would not be stupid enough to list them on the public forums, heck they'll be used in more stick-ups.

It's pretty rare for someone to use an M60 or other LMGs for a stick up, or an M16 for that matter. But the handguns perhaps.

I would also suggest to start visiting local pawn shops and surplus stores, the items may surface there.

OK let me put my "former insurance broker" hat on

the age of the goods is immaterial.. he is entitled to be put back in the same position that he was before the loss.
Replacement with like kind and quality or pay out of the Actual Cash Value are the 2 options.

Actual Cash value is the replacment cost less depreciation ( or plus appreciation )

its a good thing he has a list.. and I trust photos of the items

yup, all relevant info and pictures have been made available to the police, Ray just wanted the items back because some of the AEG mean a lot to him this teammate of mine treat his airsoft like his first child hence he is divorced, all the Items are of course replaceable (well some of them anyways) but it's still a pain in the ass dealing with all the different agencies involved
