Every email I've exchanged with him has been more on a friendly level, as opposed to a business level. Which I fancy much more, TBH.

Also, he DOES remember customers. Definitely makes you feel like your business is appreciated.

The items in particular were indeed pistols and parts. And the price difference was much greater than just the cost of taxes. The KJW M9 I bought from A&A (Even after taxes and shipping) was cheaper than the price 007 has it listed for (before shipping). I had actually emailed about that as well asking about price matching. No reply after 5 days or so, so I went with A&A. There's also a $20 difference in the price of the mags for this gun. There were a few other products too that seemed seriously overpriced at 007 compared to A&A. I'll look at a wider range of products once A&A is back up and compare.

But for me, it all came down to who actually replied to my email. I emailed Mark. Got a reply within a couple of hours saying that the gun I wanted wasn't in stock, but he had some coming in. I emailed 007... waited.. emailed again, waited, and again...

Then Mark got the gun I wanted and I bought it there instead... Simple as that. Came down to a matter of communication for me. I like being ackknowledged when I'm looking to give someone my money.

Hmm. Perhaps Ken works with who was in line first? My replies were lightning quick. 2-3 within 45mins.

+1 there. At the time I mad the purchases, I wasn't age verified, (got age verified just after buying my rifle and pistol from A&A) and I wanted those specific guns now. But I've since bought 3 more guns from the classifieds and am more than happy with them. It's where I'll be making most of my gun purchases from now on.

As for parts and accessories, I'll place my own orders (and have) with WGC, uncompany, and Redwolf. Because really, why should I pay $45-$65 for a magazine that I can get from Redwolf for $25 + $10 shipping?

Remember that Ken ships with Purolator, insures the packages, and delivery requires a signature. I don't think Mark insures unless you ask him to and pay for it, he ships with Canada Post I believe, and signatures aren't required unless you request it. So while you're paying less with Mark, there's a better chance that you'll get what Ken ships to you.

Regardless, they both offer a great service, and you can't go wrong regardless of who you deal with. Even in the Classifieds, the guys selling stuff have to get it from somewhere, and unless they've set up their own manufacturing facilities in their basements, I'm assuming that they get what they sell from one or the other more often than not.

As for the original question, he'll get to you when he gets to you; call if you can't wait.

We're looking at close to a month now since my first email to him about the KJW M9, and I'm still waiting for a reply on that one. And 2-3 weekd for the other emails about the CA M15A4 rifle I wanted. Still no replies there either.

Sorry, but IMO, that's was a turnoff for me with 007. Not saying he's a bad guy, etc. People seem to like dealing with Ken, and that's great. For me, it's about being acknowledged as a customer, and I didn't get that, so my business goes elsewhere. Unfortunately, there's only one other competitor, so A&A it was...

All my packages from A&A (the guns, at least) arrived shipped by Canada Post, insured, and requiring signatures. And I had them within 4 business days of ordering.
