yes and no, they give us the basics, everything we need to do our jobs, extra kit is on us, so a dump bag for instance or a holo sight or a vert grip, all great to have but you gotta buy them

Noticed a lot of retailers carrying this now (the Pro-Arms version). The cheapest seems to be Airsoft Extreme (US Retailer) for $55 (everyone else is $58-60), and if my other orders from the US (Evike) are any indication, shipping will also be considerably cheaper than from HK.

Looking at the extra pics from AEX, it also appears the goofy light holder is in fact removable (big yay):

Now I'm wondering if they'll make it through customs. (sure glad CBSA is cracking down on all those M203s that were being used to knock over liquor stores)

it would be nice to have but i don't wanna risk getting blacklisted over some dumb grip, if 007 or A&A could get it for me that would be great, id rather pay a lil more it and be safe then have to worry about customs raping me up the ass

Yeah but then it goes back to being $130+, and I just wouldn't pay that much for a grip.

Given that almost all the retailers are carrying it now, I figure it's just a matter of time before a cheaper Chinese clone comes out, then maybe Huang can hook us up, he's been offering some pretty good deals for other items.

well if i invest in one I'm gonna want one thats high grade and can hold up to real ops, 150+ for a good vert grip is not that bad in my mind

it just upsets me that stuff like that is being restricted, if you ban the launcher then whats the point of banning the grips for it?

Wiat, what, why would this be restricted?

Haha was that an "in before necro"?

It goes based on the recent changes to the law that M203s and all M203 parts & accessories -- including things such as M203 leaf and quadrant sights -- are now prohibited.

So as this is a grip for an M203, there's a chance it would get seized if it was identified as such by CBSA.

Or at least that's the possibility we were debating. And AFAIK no one has attempted to import one yet.

Yeah, yeah, necro, I know...

Ok, now I'm pissed, I was going to import a leaf sight, grip and perhaps a couple of shells.

Someone tell me to go read the FAQs...

I'll have a leaf sight and shells up for sale soon :P

I just haven't had time to get pictures and stuff organized. Got a million things going on since the holidays.

I've also been tempted to try a grip.

Queens Own Rifles of Canada

Well thats in the Reserves(the weapon bits anyways). Reg Force has a bit more kit

I'm in a Reg Force Infantry Battalion an well all got vert grips(I don't like them too much though, so I bought my own). All our C8A2s come with EoTechs, etc.

Keep all the reciepts for extra kit you buy, helps during tax times.. get a bit of cash back for work expenses. I haven't done that yet though, since I had a bad habit of throwing out all my receipts.
