Hmm... thanks
Anything else, any Hi-Capa owners/tryers? |

kind of a BIG change... but if they could make a 1911 Gov't in a FM version... I'd be their manslave forever.

How hard would it be to take off that “Baby hi-capa” on the side, or is it engraved?

It appears lightly engraved, and filled with white paint...

I like the A version more. I dont like the grips on the B.
Yeah i find it kinda lame that it says "Baby" on it. maybe it can be removed, but i doubt it can be done without making your gun look ugly.

Ah, well... I referred the WE rep, Cherry, to this thread. Perhaps they can pick up on this and make an aftermarket slide, or a different version?
In other words, make your suggestions count, the WE people'll be seeing this. |

I'll get one anyways. It's a nice piece of work.
Still, I'll admit that the Baby Hi-Capa thing isn't too nice... hopefully, there'll be a different version or an aftermarket slide. |

I think I'm going to go for one anyways and just sand then dremmel polish the sides of the slide. It doesn't look like it's that deep, and a surface sand won't likely comprimise the integrity of the gun.
The A version looks awesome. |

Me me again
Hi this is Cherry from Jia, I note your opinion regarding the Hi-capa 3.8 mark. I will pass to factory and get back to you later.
By the way, Double Edge will be our current distributor of WE pistol in Canada, we will send samples of WE pistols to them for quality testing at the first of Jan, I think you'll see report from Double Edge soon. (:  I am back ^oo^ but my mouth is still busy having lunch. The damn " baby hi cap 3.8" is printed by laser engraving. it is possible to remove but factory will work on this for larger quality ( over 240 pcs -- this is the rule between gun factory and engraving factory anyway a long and boring story). Ignore the baby words please.. :banghead: |

Damn! They are even on ASC! I'll have to pick up one of those, they seem to be right it with it when they're hopping right into our forums and asking for opinions, now THAT's a good company.
By the way, MAKE A DAMN COLT 1911A1. That would make my year... century. Oh, and if you do, try to put some trades on it. Not that it matters, a Colt 1911A1 is a Colt 1911A1. That's the Vietnam/WWII version. Not the damn "chrome hammer and trigger" crap. Make my century!! EDIT - Yes, wood grips would be nice. If that's not possible though, try to at least make the plastic grips look nice, like... a nice shade of brown, maybe a worn look, and try to make the gun a kind of gun blue... not straight black... add some bluish to it... make it look nice, make it look WWII nice. If you can do that.... damn... I'd have an orgy with that! |

Told you, marketing's evolved.
Yeah, a 1911'd be great. 'Specially with wood grips, I'm sure the WWII enthusiasts would be quite enthusiastic about that... it'd be quite a good market.

If you made a nice metal Colt 1911, with wood grips, I would buy it.
