Purists will hate you for it - but adaptable people in 2013 will appreciate it.

That is the demise of the 'Tactical' AK

Welcome to the world of loose selector lever first world problems as well

I'm using the blue! The screw that goes in is just flat metal and round - no straight edges to get good torque

Not the kind that has the pop off cap either. Why they make them like this is beyond me.

Beats having the cap break and expose the dirty phillips screw.

Good call man. Get the gearbox fixed up with a better piston, lighter piston head and a mosfet and you'll be singin!

LCT's unfortunately come stock with an ok piston and an aluminum piston head which brings the RPS down a bit. Lighten both those parts up, and you'll have a mean mean BB machine!

LCT's are probably the best platform for a tactical conversion because they have pretty realistic dimensions, but hold together with set screws mostly. VFC is the most true to the real steel construction, but a bit more of a headache because they use pins to hold everything together. So when you break it down a bit to add your goodies, it just might wear down the pins a bit faster because you're popping them in and out. Not really an issue, but if you like to changing things up a lot, it could become one.

Oh! Don't forget to check out the LCT Magwell Spacer. Best investment for my LCT, hands down.
