Yep. Would work even better if it were a pony.

Distraction devices are good. Try using an alarm, or a strobe device might work. Thunder B grenades without BBs or anything could work, or an approved smoke bomb (no flame, non toxic). If you can see through the door, use an LMG to spray ricochet rounds into the room, and attack from another entry. Kill the power and use bright flash lights to blind them. Good old fashioned breech and clear works. Stack up outside the doorway, and come in hot two by two. You lose a couple of guys, but you'll own the room. Dissolve the enemies patience as well. If there is only one way in, post a guy outside quietly to out wait them. He can use the door jam on an angle as a pinch point. Depending on the shape of the room, and how many enemies are inside, you can pie the corner as well; have a guy stand on either side of the door way up against the wall, and slowly cross out in front of one another shooting rounds into the room ...just don't shoot your buddy as he crosses in front of you.

If you want to sacrifice a decoy, have someone streak through the room while blowing on a rape whistle ...I'll bet they are the only one that dies.

was it in the game rules that stipulated that when one takes a hit to fall on the spot? unless it was, I don't see any issue with him calling his hit, place red head cover on, retrieve his grenade and go back to where he was hit to continue his count down.

Typically though, in CQB environments, 5 minutes can be a long time to bleed out before respawning. I can understand if there are medic rules but most times people just clear the playing area to avoid getting shot again or trampled.

He meant, that his friend remained dead; he just hung around and gave the fire fight time to play out so he could retrieve his grenade. Walking through a doorway during a breech and clear can be harrowing, even with a dead rag on. He could've shouted "dead man coming in!", but good for him to let the situation resolve itself.

A salient point here being glossed over is that in no way is it normal or acceptable for other players to steal expended Tornado grenades.

1) You should not expect that to happen and normal and organized game where honor is a tenet.

2) If it does happen you should call out full stop and find out who's pocketed them.

3) If no one owns up post up the event details and player names. The hate machine will do it's job.

4) Regardless of other details it is prudent to police up gear like dropped magazines, grenades and weapons as soon as possible and not at the end of the day or game.

It's also good to mark your gear (some people just put electrical tape around something, others will go as far as scratching their name into their gear). At the least, it will help with any confusion. "My grenade fell out of my pouch somewhere in this building. It's got a big peace symbol scratched into the bottom. Has anyone seen it?"

Another thing I see is people picking up a grenade with the intent to give it back to a player at respawn or something. It's really not too helpful, as the person who threw the grenade will not know that you have it, YOU might not even know who threw it, and who knows what will come up in the time until you are able to give the grenade back? You might have gotten hit with the grenade, then pick it up and walk out of the building to give it to whoever threw the grenade, but the person who threw it was shot right after throwing the grenade, and has gone back to spawn already. Thus, you're stuck walking to the opposite side of the field, with a grenade, with no idea who the player was.

I just leave the grenade, or place it in a more visible location so the owner can find it easier.

As a heavy grenade user (I would bet that there are very few people on this forum who use as much 40mm, smoke and Tornado as I do), I found that the only time I ever lost my shit was when I set a tripwire with an impact grenade that got spotted. I don't care if someone sees and disarms a trap by cutting the wire, but picking up that live nade and throwing it at my team? Hey, props for thinking on your toes, but that's my hundred dollars you just threw through the air and didn't watch where it landed. When I throw my nades, I am the one assuming the risk of loss or damage.

I don't pick up someone else's gear and use it without question because I find it laying around on the field.

This needs to be mandatory reading for 90% of the community, it seems particularily so here in Ontario and the Toronto/surrounding area.

On topic:
If it's cleared as a grenade by game control, fuckin rock it, it'll only help you.

If it's not, I've tossed mags into a room and watched people scream grenade and go for cover, at that point I go through the door and shoot them. I've thrown a little blue mouse in a dress through a doorway once at one of the School games. I found it on the floor, shouted grenade and threw it, I had 1 gun dive through the doorway to try escape and 3 others I shot when I entered the room

If it works in any way, shape or form, use it. The device may not have the ability to "kill" the enemy player, but it can draw their attention away for a critical few seconds.

I wound up naming the little blue mouse Millie the Mouse and putting it on the end of an M16A2, I stuck the muzzle around the corner, waved it around and tried to make a cartoony voice while saying "Hi, I'm Millie the Mouse! Let's be friends! Do you want to come play with me?"

No word of a lie, some guy's face appeared around the corner and got halfway through asking who Millie was before he realized what was happening. He also ignored a mercy and tried to raise a pistol, so I shot him point blank in the face for the attempt :P

So, for you, I suggest you get that monkey a proper name

+1 for distraction device awesomeness, I feel hat some people take it to seriously too, buy a orange grenade, use a blue mouse or a little monkey to give you an edge! this is all about having a good time and shooting your friends (hence my cheap load out) and giving them a chance to shoot you back! i'll never understand the usage of majorly and overly realistic gear. anyhow, i'm off to find that mouse a name and use him on thursday!

Oh, so it was ME who was wrong when YOU said that he LOST it, not that it was STOLEN.

Wow, I see how that's totally my mistake here.

Monkey was deployed last night at UA, I waited for my enemies to approach the police station in where I was hiding for about 20 minutes, it was 3 versus 1 and I was only rocking my kjw p226, I held the grenade for a while, as all the enemies had just realized where I was hiding, while their guns were trained on me through a doorway. I found it appropriate to dance a little and be happy as I knew my fate would be sealed, in calling grenade I proceeded to throw the little brown monkey in the direction of the 3 enemies, one of them who will not be named began to run away in fear, the other 2 were attempting to look for it and were clearly distracted, I kicked open the door to the police station and proceeded to shoot at least 2 of them before being cut down by the third enemy who had just realized it was a little brown monkey, and was in a good position to fire on me,
