Greenline magazines are garbage. I paid $3.00 a piece from a HK retailer for mine 3 years back now and I still want my money back. Never walking into that store again.

I am closet cleaning, and I have OD PTS magazines that may be sold as I've found over 15 of the "good" pmags and I think I still have more. Shoot me a PM if you are interested or search the classifieds.

Just got two free Beta Project EMAGs from someone who was kind enough to give me them for a tester to see if I wanted to buy any. Tested both mags yesterday in my SCAR-L and they work very well. No feed issues on semi or full auto, even when fully loaded. I would have to crono them to see if there was any loss of velocity on the first several rounds, but the delay between firing and the ping of my target all sounded the same. They feel durable and I even threw a pair of shoes on and took a few steps on one and stood on it for ten seconds with no damage to the magazine. I'm sure giving a few stomps would have different results, but lots of plastic mags would have similar fates aside from the fully licensed Magpul PTS PMAGs. If I don't manage to snag any off of Azathoth here, I'll definitely be ordering a box from Shrike.

I bought a box of those pmags a few years ago, and today not a single one works. Total waste of money.

Why? Unlike other M4 magazines, the pmags are glued and can not be disassembled for service or maintenance. If you drop your mag on water or in dirt during a game, you should disassemble it and clean it before the next game.

And dirt, water or broken bbs in these pmag is bad news.

Buy mags that can be disassembled.

PTS PMags are the ones that can be disassembled which make them awesome. Had an issue during a game with the bb jammed up inside all i had to do was do a quick fix and it was working again. took me a while but shouldnt take you more than 10 minutes to take it apart and shove everything back tgt.

For AR15 Series AEGs i will only use PTS pmags due to their awesome robust nature and i game them quite hard and they still have yet to break on me the pmag shell is awesome for the PTS ones id suggest you buy those

Mine also worked out of the box.

Wait till you drop it on dirt and it gets inside, or water...jams some bbs, and if you can't it out, what do you do? Keep on using a dirty magazine?

I have yet to be able to load bb's into a magazine already with a bb jam.

All my mags are metal but easily taken apart for service but would like to migrate to lighter PMags.

Do you have any pics of it disassembled? Before I take the $$$ plunge, gotta make sure.

I own a few PTS pmags. Expensive as hell but have never had 1 jam and feeds flawlessly. They are easy to dissassemble. Slide off the bottom plate, unscrew the 1 hex bolt to separate the inner box from the outer. When you split the two watch out for the flying spring. Kind of like a mechbox.

Yes, I know they are pricey, but then again, quality is not cheap either.

The next time you open one up, could you please post some pics.

Thanks.

No problem I will post a tutorial next time I open it up. If you want a quick reference video check youtube titled "Magpul PTS pmag M version disassembly". Its an 11:37 video and goes into it with review, full disassembly and full assembly.

My green box pmags went through a couple stages: 1) new and sketchy 2) half working and half jammed 3) all unjammed and working 4) all completely functioning and working 100% fine a year later.

The green box pmags are part of my collection of pmags that I leave loaded to the brim with BBs often for 1 to 2 weeks at a time before I either go to a game again or suddenly remember I should empty them. And they still work.

My suspicion about those of you who have non-working green box pmags is that you're not playing enough. Abuse these things, they respond well.
