That JG Thunder Dragon Maul is from a manga/anime called Ghost In Shell.

Guys, I'm disappointed!
None of guys knows about the Calico "Ugly as fuck" guns!

Here they are! :

Hell, there's even a tommy gun version! :

Promotional video! :Calico - YouTube

And some shooting! :

Calico M-110 - YouTube

Now, it's a pretty good design, I'll admit! The helical magazine is interesting, reminds me of the P90 a little!
Calibers are 9mm/22lr.

Calico, even though based in the US, is not known much. But they've been around a while! I've seen some in one of Dolph Lundgren's movies!!!

Yeah, that's brilliant, but they could have done it better looking!

I second the KRISS, looks great in a Sci-fi setting.
(That's from the upcomming Total Recall sequel.)

I think that these looks pretty...erm...unique.

The VB Berapi LP02
http://guns.wikia.com/wiki/VB_Berapi_LP02
I'm not even sure if this thing is real as the amount of data to be foung on Google is non-existant.

Yes, I did see this gun first in a FPS I was playing. But heck, it looks sci-fi!

I nominate the Pancor Jackhammer.

http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/usa/jackhammer-e.html

This thing is so goofy it looks like a 50's Ray Gun had sex with some diving equipment and then drank during the pregnancy.
The designer got around such difficult questions as "How to reliably upscale a direct gas impingement system for 12 Gauge and then slam it into a bullpup" by making the barrel assembly function as a bolt and return.

This system was so [S]retarded[/S] awesome that while cocking the weapon was very reasonably managed by manipulating the handguard, in order to change 'magazines' the shooter had to draw the trigger back half-way, which would disengage the barrel and allow the shooter to pull the handguard forward, thus ejecting the 'magazine'.
That makes reloading with any more rounds left than '0' incredibly stupid, and would make me never want to be near anyone using the thing.

When you do need to reload, after drawing a 'magazine' from your pouch you need to tear off a plastic film like opening a goddamn fruit cup.
Before or after engaging the death switch to dump the old 'mag', I'm not sure, but I guess you trained for this all through grade school lunch.

One good thing after all of this is done is that you can just toss that old 'mag'.
It's disposable.
Well, maybe only disposable by necessity, since you'll have to send your pudding cup back to the factory to be reloaded.

And we wonder why nobody ever picked up a production contract?
This gun has really only existed in videogames (only two known functioning fully-automatic prototypes) so in practical terms it actually is a sci-fi gun.

Unfortunately, no Airsoft version exists that I am aware of.
I would buy two.

The silver lining is that apparently those drums double as AP mines.

I would buy one of these to throw it out.
That's how bad this thing looks. And functions.
