All of the red's I saw on ebay were significantly more expensive. I guess they're much more popular... anyways, I have a red light already, so I was fine without it on my HL1-A.
No idea about fitting real internals in to a clone case. I don't even know why you'd do that, to be honest... It's like buying a Lamborghini so you could shove the internals in to a kit car's external shell. LOL If the purpose is to get a black casing, I'd rather spray paint the real casing. The quality of the Element clone is far inferior to the real thing. |

Kwan, if you're lookin' for the legit Surefire HL, DS Tactical stocks them. Thats where I got mine. They've got the HL1-A-TN (white and blue) and the HL1-C-TN (white and red).

Kokanee, is that your issue brain bucket? If so, does your CSM have a shitfit whenever he see's it? lol. I've got velcro sewn onto the back of mine for my nametape and a surefire HL1. I've been waiting for the inevitable jacking about it.
EDIT...I too am allergic to sulfa and the army system is so fucking retarded they keep putting "Sulfer" allergy on my docs. Where'd you get the allergy tag?

My CO/Troop Cmdr/RSM have seen it a bunch of times and haven't said a word about it. I made the allergy patch myself - pm me if you want one done up. |
