Yea from what Iv seen in YouTube videos it's an open bolt so that it can gain the "increased rate of fire" unless I got the name wrong... That's what I saw anyway. Was thinking about picking one up but this turned me off from it completely.

The SRC AKS74U has the 'bolt hold' (I'll call it that instead of bolt stop, since the function is different) feature. When the bb's are gone, the bolt stops at approx. 3/4 closed. When the mag is removed, it drops the rest of the way. (I test fired one this afternoon... )

@Maku3225 People, this is a gun we've chucked "under the table" for 2 years (that is exactly what the boss was saying in the vid). That was a project was do on lunch breaks for fun...that's all. Not even sure if we're going to put it to production That's why the vid is up here to see if it does denerate some interest... or what model people actually want. We've got WAY TOO MANY such like GBB fun projects up our sleeves it not even funny... I still like Daytona better. Much more expensive and a gas line, but i still would take DG over Gas in mag.
Nice though, never enough AK's!
