With my huge ass arms, I just grip the foregrip fully. If I don't, my arms get tired fast. And with a real gun I hold partial magwell, partial gun.

Usually close to the magwell, but I've been finding more and more that holding out farther improves my target acquisition times since I have more control over the gun.

i hold mine by the tactical grip, but thats because i find the mag well on a SIG 552 uncomfortable because generally on like an M4 or G36C i hold the mag well.

Me, I'm a sniper so its the usual right trigger grip/left hand on the lower reciever, resting on my non-dominant arm if im prone (only in airsoft, this is murder with real guns)

I hold it with my forehand on the magwell, it just feels...right, plus the gun seems more balanced there

I always hold my MP5 halfsies on the foregrip and halfsies on the magwell. It just seems like the most comfortable way to hold them.

I switch it up alot with the FAMAS. In CQB I'll grip the pistol grip with my right hand and the "trigger guard"/hand guard with my left hand, so that my hands are really close, similar to a P90. I find I feel much smaller and more maneouverable this way. In the bush I hold the foregrip like it's meant to be held. When I'm prone/sitting and have either the fore grip supported on something or the bottom of the "trigger guard"/hand guard supported on something, I'll stick my left hand under my stock, either in a fist or open with the stock between my thumb and my pointer finger.

Depending on gun:
Standard forestock grip (smooth rifle grips, Thompson)
Vertgrip thumb-break ("Magpul" grip, Sopmod Block I AEGs)
Angled Foregrip (GBBR)
