Still waiting on Amos to send me the end cap of the bolt, and the crosspin for the stock was removed since I just recently stained the stock.

The bayonet I got was real and loose, I don't like the idea of impaling my hand on that spike if I took a fall, Haha.

The AceVD is an awesome weapon Really fun to shoot, but the only thing is that right now it is shooting to hot for my field. I haven't tried other gasses yet, but I am punching out .2's at 550+fps

My VSR started as a Well MB-03 and is slowly being upgraded.
So far internally are:
Zero trigger
High pressure piston
Metal spring guide
High power spring (I think its either a 150 or 170)
Foam filled stock

Coming Soon:
Angel Airsoft AEG hop-Up
Madbull 6.01mm 509mm tightbore

How it originally looked:

Polishing of the bolt with a dremel (Didn't last that long.... :/)

Polished bolt in the receiver:

Original paint job I did to it:

Zero Trigger:

9 Months after the initial bolt polishing...

Paint became sticky and gross:

Quite literally rubbed off like school glue on your hands:

And so the sanding began, the paint came off and clogged up the sandpaper pretty bad...

Saberwing -When painting plastic and not using a paint designed for plastic you will have trouble with adhesion. This is because of left over mold release agents in the surface of the plastic. I always give plastic a quick wet sand (1000grit and soapy water) to get rid of any shine in the surface of the plastic and to provide "mechanical" adhesion. Wipe it all down with rubbing alcohol than use a product called adhesion promoter, "bumper to bumper" carries it, this gets rid of the last bits of release agent and preps the plastic to bond with your paint. Hope that helps!

Is there any shops in canada that sell parts like cylinders and pistons and such for the VSR-10? Got a TM to upgrade, just dont feel like having to go through PDI themselves just for the parts.

My current pride and joy...

Classic Army M24.

But no rifle is complete without the upgrades and externals, so here's what I put into it/onto it.

-Prometheus 6.03 barrel
-Firefly hard bucking
-Firefly flat nub
-Laylax high pressure piston
-Laylax 170 spring (soon to be replaced by a 150)
-Laylax spring guide

-Classic Army tactical muzzle break
-Classic Army Bipod
-BSA 4-16 scope (overkill sure looks awesome)

Out of the three bolt action rifles I own, this one is definitely worth every penny I spent on it.

TM VSR-10 Gspec

PDI Zero trigger
PSS10 150 spring
PSS10 Upgraded Piston
PSS10 Ballbearing Spring Guide
Nineball Hopup Bucking
Sorbo pads on cylinder and piston head
MARS rail
Simmons 4x fixed scope
Tilt capable bipod

Gotta get a tightbore barrel in 300mm or more (Suppressor will cover it) and perhaps a better hopup chamber. I plan on using .30's for now and 36's on this once I find a better hopup arm. Stock gspec hopup arms aren't built for heavier BB's and wont apply much hop to heavier projectiles. I currently cut a 'nub' to fill in the gap to add a crude spacer for now. Its still accurate, but not at a level I'm satisfied with. I'll be making a range report on this once the 10 ft of snow that dumped on us yesterday melts...

I'll have a better photo coming once I get a new charger for my camera... My old one died on me, Gahdammit

Move over TM VSR, Hello TM L96AWS.

Just trying to decide whether I should go PDI or Laylax for its guts. Anyone have reccomendations on that? Also trying to find a good place to buy from.

Thanks
