it could work, it would just be retarded. pull the trigger, motor spins the gear, which trips the sear, which opens the valve allowing the gas to release and expand. utterly utterly useless, but could be done.

haha! found it
MGC (Model Gun Company): MGC was originally a producer of high-quality, metal replicas of many famous firearms, beginning in 1970. While these would not chamber (much less fire) live ammunition, MGC models featured functional actions and could be field-stripped like the "real steel" weapons which they resembles. This led MGC to move into the airsoft field, due to buyers' demand for accurate appearance of the guns (unlike paintball guns). Known primarily for their long line of pistols, MGC also produced variants of the M16, Ruger 10/22, and Hecker & Koch MP5KA4 machine pistols (the latter employing a gas and electric hybrid operating system), as well as a few other notable assault weapons. The famed airsoft designer Tanio Koba also produced guns for MGC before going out on his own to produce his famous line of Heckler & Koch USPs and others, including the much-sought after 10/22. wiki classic airsoft It wasn't TM but w.e & A "gas bolt style gun" is just confusing to begin with so pthhhhht~ at you |

How about an MG 42 that won't break the bank? Unfortunately I don't have the talent to make one and there's no way I'm spending $2,000 on an airsoft gun.

The G11 would be very cool and unique. Although it was barely produced, I would like to see how manufacturers would handle the unique loading method.

Like really, how can you expect to carry more than one "magazine" for the WA2000 out onto the field? But i digress. On to the topic.... As for my list of guns, here is what i would like to see in full metal/wood with non-proprietary gearboxes/internals so that upgrades and replacement parts will be easy to come by: 1. AEG PSG-1 or MSG-90 2. AEG Gewehr 43 3. AEG MP7 (one that is actually half decent. Perhaps if CA made this i would buy one) 4. AEG WA2000 5. Spring AW-338 6. Spring, mag-fed Kar98k 7. Spring Lee-Enfield No. 4 mark 1 8. AEG TMP 9. AEG MG-42 That is all i can think of for now... More WWII stuff and a few more of the unique rifles out there (which i have listed). |
