It just boggles my mind that for years and years now, all the companies are trying to make decent ww2 rifles, but completely fail either because they make them gas or shell ejecting springer/gas.
Why can't they just develop a simple springer system, with detachable magazine? The zeta-lab mosin is a 'shell-less' springer, and could be a breakthrough but they managed to make the magazine a complete disaster...... These Chinese companies just keep copying each other's shit. Here exception goes to Tanaka, but they're still gas rifles.... Rant over! LOL sorry

I would love to see a Rooskie attempt to game a gas rifle in the cold heart of Russian winters!

I'm with you... springer tech is solid and effective.. wrap a k98 and Lee Enfield around it and there would be thousands of happy customers..

That should be in the AV section, so non AV'd members do not see it!

Well since it's publicly available on the albertaairsoft website, I don't think there is going to be much difference.
Although, prices are probably going to be lower in the classifieds, so kids, get AV'd

Well sure, but I feel the less we can publicly spout it about, the better perhaps?
In other news, I have one on pre-order, ETA is March sometime depending on Customs. Very excited! Although I dream of a Spring version one day, I am content with this system. Seeing as it is a clone of the Tanaka, hopefully it lives up the name to some extent.

Yeah for sure, I do believe that with G&G, you are at least guaranteed aftermarket/replacement parts!
But congrats! I would surely buy one, but that M1 conversion is expensive :P

oh news on the ICS M1 from Shrike airsoft.
the Garand they had on display was metal and wood, the receiver and other metal bits look like that because it is still under production and was rushed out as a floor model, but I have been assured that it was metal(it just looked odd) |
