Got a package sitting on the border since june 22. I sent a package to montreal last week and it took 1 day to get there.

Last time I'm dealing with CP.. I'm willing to spend a few bucks extra and use Fedex.
My tracking for my MSA Sordins isn't working from USPS, ever since it's stuck at the border. Don't even know what the hell is going on.

I had a new credit card being shipped to me (they cancelled my previous one due to a security issue).

It was supposed to be courier'ed to me (1-2 days shipping). Its now been 2 weeks. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. Ive been without a CC for 2 weeks now.

Oh, and I got all my bills on time too... Too bad I dont have my CC to pay them.

Something is seriously fucked up here...

The thing that bothers me is they Gould have cleared the back log and items waiting for pick up at customs before accepting all this new mail.

Ok so the strike and lock out put things on hold but once it was back up and running I should have received ( or at-least seen new movement when I track) items that should have been xpresspost. Instead they still show the same yet newly mailed packages are arriving before ones that should have been delivered weeks ago

Not sure about that, I also had a package sent to me on Monday and it is not even showing in the system when you try and track it. Just poor service all around just before stike/lockout and after

Packages are generally running late due to the backlog and surge. I've been getting random mail erratically for the last few days.

Running late is fine, but they just effed up over here.
Yesterday the status of the package was "Out for delivery" and last night, it changed to "Item redirected to recipient's new address"
I'm pretty curious as to what the hell my new address is, since I've lived here for over 15 years.

heh, if i get a package that only shipped out from HK on the 3rd, before my package thats been sitting in vancouver since the 7th of last month im gonna laugh, and then probably be pretty pissed off

atleast yours changed status LOL ... both mine just outside the border are still listed as Delayed ... having the companies that shipped them do a trace ... just to make sure they didn't get stuffed in the corner of a warehouse and forgotten

I talked to a guy I know who works for USPS, he says that even though CP is back to work, packages will still be held in the US to avoid overloading CP.

I got the same reply from USPS. But for other mail so far I got junk mail here and there then yesterday my mail box was stuffed full and 3 boxes and a few letters that didn't fit in the box were left at my door.
