Are you sure you're doing it right? If a TM mechbox won't even fit in right that definitely doesn't sound right. Pictures help a lot.

Perhaps there is something askew with the body. I hate to ask but youre sure its a legitimate G&P yes?

that's really the best photo I can find. That's how the mag release hole is lining up when the back body pin is insterted. And I asked the person I bought it from. He assures me it is 100% legit

I might be able to fix it if you mail it to me. If it requires machining, it'll be in the right hands lol

I put a JG in a CA shell and had similar issues.

for the mag release, I threw out the CA one and found an old TM one that fits and works. not 100% but it works fine. for the rear pin, I just didn't put it back in. the next time I break down the mechbox, I'll drill out the hole in the mechbox slightly to allow it to line up. the center pin went in with a lot of effort and leverage.

use a dremel and a cone shaped grinding stone. measure and mark the area you need to make bigger. AND, go slow taking a little out at a time while test fitting throughout the process.

I don't think G&P makes a body with that marking on it. Might not be G&P.

Alrighty then, nevermind.
I was browsing through the G&P site and didn't see it.
