What does the 5.1 strike kit have anything to do with an SAS front kit for 4.3?

You're right, it has nothing to do with a SAS 4.3 kit, they're two different things

You do not HAVE to mount it on a 5.1 with a 4.3 slide, a 4.3 slide is shorter therefore there will be a space at the front, that was my point in posting the picture, the holes on the rail have to be moved up closer to the front in order for a 4.3 slide to fit without there being a gap.

You're a lil confused my friend. Click on the link and take a look at the 4.3 sas front kit, find a 5.1 sas front kit and compare.

There won't be any moving of the holes or 5.1 slide involved nor would there be any gaps.

2 ways you can use this 4.3 sas front kit

TM 5.1 hicapa + 4.3 outer barrel, 4.3 slide, sights, 4.3 recoil rod and bushing.
TM 4.3 hicapa + 5.1 frame.

The question was whether or not 4.3 kit is available. It is.
There is a picture of it installed and uninstalled. Plus a link to purchase one.

I'm not disputing whether a 4.3 kit exists, we now know it does

obviously there will be no gap with a 4.3 kit on a 4.3 slide, we were talking about 5.1 kits before you posted that link

what I am disputing is how you can say that for a 5.1 kit you need to put it on a 5.1 frame with a 4.3 slide which is false information,

scroll back a page

the OP started talking about a 5.1 kit as it was all he could find, someone else said that he needed to put that 5.1 kit on a 5.1 frame with a 4.3 slide, at that point of the conversation, no one was talking about 4.3 kits as it's existence was not revealed until you joined in

Are you talking about this statement? Because it is absolutely correct.

Nowhere in his post does he mention a 5.1 sas kit.

Nobody was talking about 5.1 kit. Heck this thread is titled 'SAS strike kit for Hi-Capa 4.3'.
For some reason you assumed that everyone was talking about 5.1 kit on a a 5.1 frame with a 4.3 slide [WTF lol] and spread false information yourself.

Oh man...

I didn't know of the 4.3 kit, neither did the other OP or the 2nd guy, if the 2nd guy knew of the 4.3 kit he would've told the OP about it instead of saying "I think you need to mount it on a 5.1 frame with a 4.3 slide" which is why I said what I said and posted that pic there, in the absence of a 4.3 kit it was a safe assumption dont you think?

No.
If I knew 4.3 kit existed [Which I did] I prolly would have said the same thing as 'theguy'.
Not to mention that there was clearly a picture of it in the 1st post. That would have been 'safe assumption' right there.

Wrong assumption is wrong.

epeens back into the pants, all he has to do is install that 4.3 strike kit on a 4.3, or get a 5.1 strike kit to install on a 5.1, correct?

The description says I need a hi capa 5.1, but to use a 4.3 slide. That's ridiculous, they should make one completely compatible for the 4.3 without any changes. Frames are so expensive.

"Description: Will fit Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 & use the 4.3 slide to install the kit."
- taken right from the Tokyo Model site.

aren't you trying to sell your 4.3 to buy a 5.1 anyway?

No, I'm buying another 4.3, but with upgrades. It is more beneficial for me to sell the one I currently have than to pay for the cost of labour for installing the parts. If I had been thinking straight and hadn't been hasty I would have gone straight for the upgraded one...
